I used to have similar issues. I found that clicking on portal and then the worlds button, taking me out, and then selecting the world again forced aurora to update.

I had the same issue with researching sentry... But it worked after a while and its ok now

my barracks are at lvl 10 but Aurora still wats me to update '3 times' - how can this be fixed?
