This is something the support team is aware of and working to resolve. They gave me the following:
"We are aware of the crashing issues you have been experiencing with the latest update and are working hard at finding the underlying issues and submitting a fix as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you and simply ask for your patience and understanding while this issue it being resolved.
The issue primarily affects the HD version of Valor, so, as a temporary workaround, please download the non-HD version of Valor to decrease the chance of crashing. You can do this by going to the iTunes app-store and inputing "Valor" in the search list. The regular version of the app will not replace your current HD version and also takes very little space. Your account on HD will automatically appear on the non-HD version as well.
Thank you for your feedback, patience, and cooperation"
