When someone moves from one guild to another, his cities show the old guild name for days, in the map. If you click on the cities they change the guild name. But if you leave the map and return later they return to the old guild name. So it's not a question of waiting updating on a hourly basis.
This should be immediate.

I think its because the server updates hourly or so and you probably saw the city before it updated

Why is it that if I see a city owned and then click on it to find its not owned. Why is valor not updating maps properly even though I fresh to double check.
