Update? I'd rather see an update from the owner's/maintainer's of the game than conjecture from Dlor

If you did "lose all" then you couldn't have gotten a scouting report.

There is a bug like this that we are working on getting fixed. Thank you for your patience until that is resolved.

Scouting an inactive or a barb has a bug. It magically gives that player or barb troops out of nowhere. Where is the fun in that?

Or it could be that the lancers were already on their way. Scouting will not tell of any incoming support from elsewhere. That's why it's recommended to add any troops that appear on the Troops Outside of City. But if they're from another city, you know nothing unless they are on the city. The lancers got there after you scouted and before your guards hit.

Instant spy shows troops and resources from the last time the city was refreshed/report given. This is a bug as far as I'm aware..

A work around would be to send a single scout at the city, or minimal resources, check report, then Instant spy.
Yeah, kinda Defeats the purpose..

I instant spied an enemy and when my troops landed he had more troops. It can't be support because his closest guild member was further away then me. I sent guards and support was lancers
