After three years of playing playmesh games, I don't even notice.

There are several factors in play.
The first is player usage. One of the recent outages was cause by a server overload, where there were just too many connections because there were too many players.

The second is, playmesh knows that there are too many players and are in the process of upgrading te service to cope with the demand.

Third this is all unexpected as there was, from what I understand, a recent surge in activity. The admin team have been trying very hard to keep the server up and yet still perform the required maintainence.

Knowing the recent problems that we've been going though, I've been quite impressed with how they have managed the process, but there is some down time to be expected.
The team is now trying to limit these mainyanence sessions to announced times. Please check the forum announcements for updated information.

Why does the down time have to be at the same time. This disadvantages people in specific time zones. This happens each time at my optimal launch time and as many have said, makes it impossible, especially when launching against very experienced players. Timing is essential and I am bamboozled as to why so much maintenance has to be done. It wasn't like this a few mths ago.

Believe me guys, we're super annoyed by it as well. Lots of late nights and phone calls. Many of these e-mails have NUMEROUS exclamation points in them. I'm happy I'm just the business dude, because the server guys are putting in some serious time to get this all straightened out.

There is a support tab within game which is the best way to let support know what is going on.
With regards to the specific server down times, I know that this is something tht is being discussed within the development team. I would however ask for your parti****tion in letting the Qa team when you have these problems.
The more information that the team gets the more likely that these problems will get fixed.

it not spoil the game, it makes impossible to play!!!

Very very frustrating - spoils the whole game.

This type of game must work 24/7. The timing of the server downtime provides definite advantages and disadvantages dependent on the players time zones.

"and alert support if there are issues"
Anyone know how exactly? To contact or alert! Support.....

Can't help but to think they are east coast us based and for those of us that are on the other side of the. Globe.....it is a case of who cares
Instead of architecting an environment where a 15 minute outage can be managed...frustrating as all f...
This is seriously below par for a user experience and makes it perfectly understandable as to why so many cities are created and never attended again, one experience like this and every vendor of an equivalent cloud model is 'in trouble' with their business model'
my review in IGN next week might at least get the message through
