Your upset about three weeks? A new world is open every few days so join a couple! I have died at 1-5 mil half a dozen times! Something tells me that you just logged in once a day and did two upgrades then logged out for the day. Join a competivtive guild that helps alot. Also abandon your sleep cycle as it only holds you back!

Lostworlds, this is where the importance of guild membership and team playing comes into play. if you join a good guild that will communicate well and work well together then they will support you so that your city cannot be capped and then work with you to fight your attackers. if your guild cannot do that then you will fail in the game and so will your guild. Up to this point this game is about teamwork (don't know yet what the guildless worlds will bring). The most successful players are members of strong guilds and strong guilds are made up of what i explained up above. The gold, although helpful, is not necessary if you choose not to use it if you are in a good guild.

I guess you are trying to give hope to the FarmVille players that have no idea this is a team game. A single player can be ranked number 1. A guild can be ranked number 1 early. But in the end valor is the most brutal game I have ever seen. My ps3 has become nothing more than a DVD player since I found the valor. I have conq most games ever made and nothing anywhere even comes close to valor. Yes my guild has won a world and we are hard into w100 the superworld. And I love it. I spend many many many fours a day making sure my guild is safe. And we you rookies out thier join a guild that values Amy active player regardless of points. Cause valor winning valor is about being a family. FarmVille is a 1 player game.

Is your guild STRYK1?

This game is all about your planing/ relation / activeness and most important strategies.

and by the way you are not the only one who think in this way because this game needs dedication and patientins.

Why can't you start the game again with no money and spend some time here.

Exactly! So true!

When can we expect it to be part of main Valor? 4 weeks from now? 2 months, or what are talking here?

A lot will depend on the initial feedback (that's the value of a beta after all). My current preference is to shoot for early December. Fingers crossed. I'd love to have this all run smoothly, but I'm sure I'll need to make a number of changes.

If you want to survive in this game, it's called social networking, find the biggest guild with the most active players, build your empire, under the safety of your guild. Oh and when a bigger guild starts encroaching on your land. I may not have the most cities in my world, but I survived through diplomacy and careful selection of which guild to join. Research pays off!

Threads like this are a good opportunity to lay out how I view the core of Valor. These threads do not exist in other games, because they're focused on different things than Valor. Many other games focus on building but never really answer the bigger question: Why are you building a castle and an army in the first place? For them there is just a means to a means, no means to any particular end. I view the other games in this genre as doing Valor a grave disservice by training people to not care about their decisions or their broader strategy. For Valor, the goal is very clear: destroy everyone and everything that isn't you (or otherwise allied to you).

Ideally, this message can start hitting the gaming community a bit more broadly. We're not for everyone, but for those looking for a truly competitive experience, we're happy to have you. As long as I'm Game Lead, that's the direction of Valor's design and I do not make apologies or compromises about it. I feel bad for some folks that stumble upon Valor without knowing what it is. Harsh lessons are learned. It takes a Valorian to continue.

Players who will be participating in the beta will be getting a very real sense for how much more competitive I'll be making things in the very near future (they'll be seeing a few of the more hardcore features). Hopefully the feedback from beta will give me a chance to continue working on game balance and debugging these features so they can make a strong positive impact when they hit main Valor. A lot of time and resources have gone into the revamp, and I can't wait to share it with everyone.

Clearly not losers as they won your city
