@Kgvt: To answer your question: the attacking army involved with the scholar wave that results in the conquest of the city does NOT stay in the newly conquered city. Only the scholar stays; the escort troops that were sent with that wave return with plunder from the target city to their origin city.

There has been discussion in other forum posts, suggesting that the developers implement a new function where upon the conquest of a city, subsequent attack waves from the same player/same point of origin are automatically "reconfigured" into support waves so that you don't overattack a city. If this feature were implemented, it would make the proposition in your question possible. Which would be nice. :D

Hope this helps,

You have to kill all troops in the city to conquer. If you don't, your army is wiped out.

When conquering a city, ie when your army with a scholar makes the loyalty 0, does that army in the attack wave stay, or do you just get whatever it in the city?

Thanks
