The simulator should work for balistas on buildings

To get maximum use of ballistas. Make sure there are no troops in the city and the walls are down. Btw it takes 1600 ballistas to take a building from lvl30 to zero.

As there is no simulator for balista on buildings, just want to ask if I send 3 waves of balistas each with 500 balistas only to attack someone's resources. Will they do any damage?
