1. This is the wrong forum. See the suggestions forum.
2. This has been suggested before, and in general is looked on negatively (too easy to quickly mount forward attacks I guess).

Being able to move troops to a city versus just supporting the city would allow for much better support. City deployed to would of course have to be able to feed the troops.
