[b]What are they? [/b]

Competitions are in game events that last for usually a week. During that week there is a goal that you can strive for to win some prizes. For example there is a competition that ranks you based on how many resources you loot from other cities during that time period.

[b]How/when do you enter them?[/b]

You are automatically entered into competitions when they are active. They aren't active yet on worlds, but they will be "soon" .

[b]What do they do for you?[/b]

They give you prizes and medals of course! Medals themselves are there to show other people how awesome you are, the prizes you can win are actual in game items that will give you some benefit.

So i was an active player back in the 20s-40s, then took a long break. In the meantime, much of Valor has changed (i like what you've done, Playmesh), but dafuq are these competitions/medals? How/when do you enter them? What do they do for you? There doesn't appear to be an explanation on the guide yet
