Guild tags are listed in the guild profile. Meaning, when you select the guild tab, you then have the option of selecting profile, members, forum, and others. Under profile, it lists the number of members and the guild tag that is set. It is used when referring to a guild in forums or messages using bb codes. Sometimes confusing but its better than typing out the entire guild name when talking about it.
