Greyhigh

Try not to attack others unless you know that they have quit playing, or are MUCH worse than you.
the only reason you should attack others is if you have 4-5 scholars at the ready

If you are a target for whatever reason, you will want to just join another world. My very first world I joined, I made the mistake of attacking a player close to me. Not only did my whole 15lancers die, he made me his farm. You live and learn, and whatever you did to be on their hit list, don't do it again. When you join and start in a new world, make sure you join a guild close to you ASAP. GL!

Any suggestions on how to get out of this hole? I've been keeping my resources low so that, when attacked they come up dry, but that hasn't helped so far. It all seems to be coming from one guild. I have tried to join a guild but haven't gotten any invites.

Sorry sir,

I think you're clever and dodged many many times the attacks. But fact is that you have to sleep, and maybe aren't ALWAYS logged, and since the barbs have defensive troops that respawn, sending your troops to it each time you need to rest is impossible now...

No other advice than: change your world, try another fresh one and directly join a guild in showing respect, interest and activity to the crown... This means: beign helped but HELP OTHERS too...

Good luck

IMO you have 3 options, all of which were pretty much brought up already.
1) if you're not in a guild yet, dodge attacks by finding an empty barb far and sending all troops to it right before the farming army hits... After they hit cancel your attacks and bring your troops back. But time it right since you only have 15 min to cancel.
2) if you're in a guild, get support from your guild
3) if you're in a guild, every so often keep sending whatever troops you train to a guild member as support. Eventually you will build up a decent army supporting your guildy. Then when you're about to get farmed again, pull back your support and wipe him out ;)

You can't support a barb that isn't yours.

Why dont you send all your troops out to support a bRarb as soon as you get them so they dont kill ur troops? then when u have enough conq the barb, and a guild will accept u?

NG. After 15 minutes, they would be committed to the attack, so I couldn't call them back. I can't build up sufficient forces to be able to attack anything.

You can always send troops out to farm a barb village far away

Hiding place built up to 11 (good to hold 3k+). Trouble with dodging is that, apparently, I'm on the hitlist for a local guild, and am attacked by multiple cities. If I see the attacks, I can dodge them, but the travel time inbound is so short that I have been missing some.

Build up your hiding place. Dodge the incoming. Message the guilds around you request entry into their guilds.
