In world 23 I have about 80k in points, at one point in time I had more than over half my guild, now I'm somewhere towards the bottom, and still the most active.
Ps.. A city can't get maxed out overnight for free.

Well they have to pay for the game somehow, basically the more you spend the easier it is to win right

Gold is a tool to speed up ( time ),
Buy reaiurces and other shop's items.
But u can't speed up using resources. So for sure buying resources by gold is faster. But if u don't use gold too to speed up. The update time will remain the same.
The ways to speed up the building time:
* shop via gold
* 15mins via amulet ( fortune )

That's up too you to do the math, and figure it out. :)

Oops, main ? How do u obtain gold without paying for it?
