Your question has been posted before but i will still answer. You will know when someone sends a attack at your city via a red incomming icon with two swords on it. And yes you can be attacked during your absence experienced players will try and take advantage of this and attack then as it is a good strategy. As far as you second question no i have no fear of being conqured while offline because we use trip wire networks in our guilds. If i am attacked my guild will be alerted and send support or in our case a all out attack on that person.

I'd like to ask.. Recently, I got attacked by another active player. His/Her attack was just using scouts, and in the report I got, my defenses managed to kill them all -- Still, I was surprised that I was attacked. Is there a way to know when someone has sent troops to attack my city?

After reading another thread here it occurred to me that my city could get conquered/attacked during my absence e.g. while I'm sleeping or offline (and can't seem to get back online for several hours) -- It seems scary that all my hard work could be done in just because I had no choice but to sleep. Does anyone share the same dreadful concern?
