What I do is I have a little "Farming Circle". I'm pretty sure everyone has a few "Lord85586457" next to them. I have a routine where I attack all the noob cities around me. I send all my troops to everyone. Just the way I do it and it works out good for me.

It depends.. Let's say there's a City next to you, and every time you have farmes the city, your max profit was 648 of each ressource.. Then it won't matter of you send 2000 or 200, they can't loot more than the city have in the warehouse.. So in that situation i would rather attack 10 cities with 200 than 1 with 2000 troops.. :) Hope this answers your question.. You need to keep an eye on the max capacity of the cities you attack for highest profit. :)

So is more profitable if you send all your troops to a single city, or to spread them out and hit lots of cities? My troop count is nothin right now so I send all I got, but I'm talking for later on.

The answer is no. It's actually better because the more troops you send then the more resources your troops will Cary back to the city you sent the attack from.

Is there a penalty for sending more troops than required to raid a city? Like do you get fewer rewards?
