Mecha is right. If you send all five scholars in one wave, it will only count as one scholar. Sending multiple scholars in a wave only increases your chance that one will survive and lower the loyalty.

You can't stack scholars in one wave. Each wave will only count as one scholar

What i meant was can i use 2 or 3 or 4 scholars in a single wave.
the way i understand your answer is that it is possible(?)
the idea was to send 3 waves, with 3 scholars in the 1st and 1 scholar in each of the 2nd waves, 5 min apart. which will allow me to to call off the 3rd wave if ill already have the city after the 2nd one.

You have to send more then one attack but there is an advantage which is if you have multiple scholars then you can send them all at once in seperate attacks but save the last scholar that will take out final loyalty then thirty seconds later send that one because if you send them all at once they will conquer his city but they will also use up all the scholars on conquering the one city. Its a weird glitch but just use that strategy and you can avoid it.

Can i then use more than 1 scholar in the same attack, or do i need to send 4-5 seperate attacks with 1 scholar per attack one after the other?

Check your support. If you have support scholars out for whatever reason whether you did it or not it counts against your limit. Also, check your attacks for traveling scholars.

My in game name is Abysswsker I'm having issues with scholar bugged ..
I can't build any scholar even though I have bought sufficient scholarships to educate scholars but the system show that I have no available scholars to educate.
I bought 380 scholarships and captured 17 cities not included the original city. The academy said I have 11 scholars existing which is lied I only have 7 scholars existing and missing 5 more scholars... Right now I can't educate any scholars ... Can admin help me solve this issue? I submitted a request and waiting for reply. This happen in world 71! Septus

Most of my targets are not right next to me. Minimum 10 hours usually. So I don't have the time to send four and wait. Because then I'll have to resend some of my train because the city would've regained anywhere between 40 and 80 loyalty depending on the world. So I send five. Lots of reasons I send five but that's some of the main ones
