I played strom8 games for years and just quit them because the more you spend the better game you get. I just would hate to see this game go the same route.

I wouldn't have a problem with it if they would stop selling special items that ruin the strategy of the game like truce, prestige, insta scout or reveal incoming troops, especially the last one there is no point in targeting a gold buyer cause he will do is reveal all ur troops and kill them all with the nessasary defense Im not saying gold can go away forever but they can still items that don't take so much away from the strategy, like aurora's blessing is a good one and I'm sure they can think of countless others that help a player but not demimish the strategy so much just my opinion

There's another thread on this topic already under Suggestions (if you want me to buy gold, make it worthwhile). Suggest you read that and add your two cents. 'course, two cents doesn't buy much gold in this game...

I think they should make gold do more/cost less so it's less of a rip-off.

Alternatively, Playmesh could stop selling gold, stop making money from the game, then shut it down if that's what you want.

Haha better. I think that it is stupid and I have no respect for anyone who uses it. If used for resources they should be farming. If for scholar loyalty then they should be attacking more. Each aspect of gold use is a dog way to gent ahead that loses out to active players in the end anyway
