The sim is a great way to get to k ow how much u need to throw at your enemy, so you are on right way. If you wanna loose less troops also hit with rams to break the wall. And check the help section under units-units overview. If the enemy has high defense to inf units, then attack with more mounted like knights. Good luck.

I have a question geared more towards those with multiple cities.

I want to launch an assault on a city. I scouted it first to see he has 500 of each ground unit and a level 9 wall. That's it. The stupid question is this: what's the best way to attack? I currently have 250 of each ground unit (training 350 zerks right now), 50 knights, 100 guardians, 100 rams, and 50 ballistas. I ran the sim and with 600 zerks I would almost take him out.

What is the primary attacking unit and why? Zerkers and knights are so defenseless but seem to be the only units that would do any damage except for the overly expensive guardians (4 zerkers > 1 guardian).
