you get 25pts of loyalty when you capture a town, you scholar reduces this by 20-30 pts, this means 20,21,22,23,24 all good, 25,26,27,28,29,30, lose another scholar. so you have a 54.5% chance of losing two scholars if your fourth captures the town. haven't done the calcs for your chances of capping with 4 scholars yet . . .

Yes. If the 5th scholar reduces the loyalty to 0 by some miracle, then yes. Your fourth scholar will be lost.

the scholar might capture the city if it can reduce the loyalties to 0.

If you send 5 scholars seperately to capture a city but capture it with the forth, what happens to the 5th scholar? Does he return? Or does he capture it also?
