I usually build academies in maxed cities. No reason NOT to, is there?

Yes, i agree with FxEffekt, you dont always have to build an academy in every city that you own, what happened to me was after i conquered a player's city, some of them already had an academy so i didnt have to waste time building one, and yes, when you have several academies, it makes it a lot faster to buy scholarships and scholars, especially when you get to having 20+ cities.

Cos then you can buy scholarships in every city where you have an academy.

I guess for people with big empire to expand you have to build on the borders so that you can conquer.... But this will come in usually after 5-8 cities? What's the timing of the second academy usually...?

I don't what's the point of building more than one academy in a very long time even let's say you have multiple cities. Since scholar limit is universal among all your cities and their cost of limit increase is exponential, I cannot imagine the justification for the time and resource being poured into ur other cities just so you could build several scholars at the same time. Any reasons? I'm still new so please enlighten
