The benefit would be that the desktop version would have region viewing. This would allow a zoom to see an entire region in one screen. It could also have additional background things running that would allow the desktop version to be constantly up to date while the game is active. In addition you could also have multiple city views open at once for better resource management between them. I know I would be willing to pay a few bucks for a desktop version as the phone app is very straining on the eyes and large thumbs.

There is a game very similar to this for desktop, its called Evony. They would just be reinventing the wheel.

I like this idea a lot, especially since it would make setting up guild forums a lot easier.

That is actually a very good idea. I as well would be willing to pay a small amount for a desktop version as it would most likely work a lot faster than the app does most of the time. And as long as what is done on the phone or ipod is the same as the desktop version, I am all for it.

I like this idea. Be able to play the game on the road and then be able to play it when at home.

This game is fun to play but find that when I am home I would greatly like to play from my desktop. The desktop version could cost $1.00- $3.00 and be viable.
