I concur too... For buying speed ups and specials from the shop...
It could be a small value we get per quest/spin and we have to save it...
There has to be a way to get gold...
Not all of us can afford to buy gold...

Yes there should me in games to win gold like the wheel or the quest which u complete.instead of resources and troops it could be gold.however to not make it lose it's value it would be available only for maximizing ur buildings.
