I couldn't agree with you more donut. 100%. The only thing I would add is this. If you can trade-in resources, people would have thousands of gold. I personally buy scholarships only because I don't want to waste my resources. I can educate like 20+ scholars and still have extras. So I'd have thousands of gold already. So this would just propel people further away from others widening the non-existent gap that people complain about

*about your second paragraph

If you are not financally privileged then where did you get iPhone or what ever device you use to play this game?? How about your Internet bill?

You are also wrong when you say 'people spend cash on other games so that there life is easier'. Same with Valor. Gold is not a nessesity to playing the game. All the items avaliable for purchase with gold only improves the lives of the customer a very very tiny bit. You can easily advance in the game like everyone else without the use of gold.

You should really try Facebook games. At some point in those games, they force you to buy their virtual items to advance further into the game. Valor isn't like that. There is no quests that require you to purchase gold. The point is be thankful valor is a game where gold is a luxury not a nessesity.

You forgot something when you where talking about the principles of economy. What if the game doesn't want to buy it?

It's supply and demand. The game has a high (technically unlimited) supply of the resource. Why would the game want to buy back your resources if it has a unlimited supply?

There should be a system in place where a player can sell back resources to the "game" for in-game gold. It's only fair. It needs to be a two way street. If we can spend money to buy gold for resources, there should be a system to sell resources for gold! It's a fundamental principle for any economy whether it's virtual or real life.

Any most games I have payed, there is always a system for procuring gold, other than spending real money. The way it's set up basically sends the message that the quickest way to get ahead is to spend real money, but not everyone can sink money into a game. There is not a currency reward for Smart Play, only one for whos financially privileged. What a shame.......
