I would not like to try and save up the resources then wait 30 hours for one forge level. Keep it the way it is.

Yeah I'd much much rather have to click it a few extra times as opposed to having a huge wait time taking up the que. it'd be worse than the wait time for having to build an academy everytime you wanted to upgrade it once.

Do a search for this, I've seen this before and I'm sure this was the same conclusion that that that post was brought to as well.

The problem as I see with making it a 4 (or 5) level building is that to keep the current costs/time, it would mean the queue would be locked down for a long time.

I'd rather not have a building that costs 30 hrs to build one level (which is approximately the time from 16-20). I much prefer to be able to build it 7-8 hours at a time, with other buildings thrown into the mix as needed.

But again, that's merely my preference.

Level 5 Forge = Stable
Level 10 Forge = Workshop
Level 15 Forge = Research Guardians + Ballistas
Level 20 = Academy

Other than any additional requirements, this is pretty much the the whole purpose of forge

Easily achieved in just units of time and resources, rather than units of time, resources, AND levels.

I would like to suggest making the Forge a 5-level building instead of a 20-level building, at least in the 1-level unit upgrades model (which is all I know). You could easily get all the forge's functions split into 5 levels rather than have 15 levels in-between that serve no apparent design purpose whatsoever but to messy the building queue.
