Would this lore mean anything in terms of game play and/or gold ? I won't waste a scholar on a barb just to see new features.

Its up and logged back to overflowing warehouses. Would there be an extension on boosters and queue extenders ?

Who can say ? It's an update to an app which won't load. It sure looks good from the video previews, but each release has its list of glitches.
