Are you in a world now? They only have one open world at a time. Once a world is closed to new players it is closed for good

They would have to kill off your supporting troops in the city you are supporting before they an conquer that city. You can move resources to another city if you use your market or spend it on scholarships if you have more than one academy.

I always wondered that myself you should beable to support anyone that you want. Did you post this in the suggestion thread also?

Good question. I would love to know also. I don't think you need to worry about it to much but I could be wrong.
