You will not lose your academy but if someone wipes it out with ballistas you need to build the cityhall back to 25 to rebuild your academy.

I have found you need to wait a little while sometimes if you drop out and try to rejoin right away also the above advise works also sometimes.

To report bugs http://www.playmesh.com there is a link there under the support tab. You will need to enter a bunch of info so be prepared (phone info so they know what software you are using) it walks you through it pretty easy to use

You can only support guild mates so they should post in the guild forum for support. You can also use a "trip wire" witch involves you sending one troop to a city and you will get a report when they are attacked. A trip wire only tell you after they get attacked so it may be to late to help them and...

It also depends on the how many scouts the city has you are scouting. If you win you will get all info on city. If you lose and don't have all your scouts killed you will only get info on troops inside the city.
