If you want to be sure, you can enable your truce before the city is captured. All launched attacks still land, but you won't be able to support the city and neither will your guild. Also, if you fail in capturing, you've wasted truce for nothing too, but the point is, there is a way.

I love this idea, I've wanted it badly. Even a troop untrain, or retrain button. Make it cost res. I don't care, but when I have a frontline city that I need to get scholars at and the pop is full, I'm not going to attack an enemy city and get counter attacked, and barbs are so useless for that purp...

I think it would be cool to have the world count show the number of people left in the world, or even cooler would be like most xbox live games have, how many people active within the last 24 hours.
