The only way you to can play in the same world is if you start a new one with him

How about different maps ? Say a globe with seas etc guild first try to conquer a whole island before moving onto the next island certain Coastal cities able to build a dockyard and build boats

No more unfair than get support from you guild to defend your city !
It's rational to think you army would meet up before a battle and then fight together rather than attacking in bits and pieces as and when they show up

Yes, loyalty is reduced by 20-30 per scholar attack wether that attack contains 1 scholar or 10

Depends what troops he has left after your clearing waves or that get sent to support it in the mean time

A completely empty city a few 100 troops is enough
A well supported city would require a lot more
