No, as your scholar limit stays the same, all you do is re educate your scholar, prehaps your guild mate can send you some resources to cover the costs !

Elections would be a cool idea I agree but I don't see how it would work the guild needs to be founded before anyone can join it and the founder automatically becomes a warlord I don't see how you could hold a fair vote either as any demoted warlord would be able to kick anyone who voted against him...

No is the simple answer, scholars count as troops and troops can only attack from the city they are trained in

I don't max all my cities for this reason troops are more important I am sad however in that I like the icon for a 40k+ city and therefore max the middle city in a cluster just for effect nothing more. I too am from the uk but must admit hadnt spotted that error as hadn't bothered with anything other than 200 pack once a week to maintain queue extender etc

The other option is to clear one city at a time send all troops in a city to support another, leave the guild let your friend attack with a clearing wave and 5 scholar waves, rejoin guild you can do this before the attacks hit !, do this for each city, your friend will then gain control of your troo...

You what ? Way too complicated Capital city would be 4 or five cities next to each other in whatever way side by side, diagonal as long as they are touching. Once each of those gets to 40k you have the option to turn into a capital, Doing so would cost 1mil of each resource (200 - 250 per city) and ...

You could do it in one but it is quicker with five, loyalty is knocked down per wave not by per scholar so if taking a city it's best to sent 4-5 waves containing a scholar in each, after your initial clearing waves
