Rams and ballistas are only effective with a lot of troops. If your troops are wiped out in the attack, so will your siege and they will barely make a dent. It will result in an epic fail. Level 5 Forge = Stable
Level 10 Forge = Workshop
Level 15 Forge = Research Guardians + Ballistas
Level 20 = Academy

Other than any additional requirements, this is pretty much the the whole purpose of forge

Now that you explain it that way I understand. It's to even out the playing field. But I still believe that the "spy" name is misleading.

Then they shouldn't be called spies at all then. Maybe call it something else like "instant Recon." I think this needs to be fixed, if I'm using 25 gold to spy on anybody, then make it worth it. Since there are no real virtual spy being used.
