If you demolish a building do you get back the resources that the building took to build?

No any time left does not wrap around (should do though) its like change in a shop )

Yes but if your new these take a long while to develop my advice even though I'm new is build up your wall to say level 5 to 10 then your lumbermill quarry about three levels quicker than iron then build upto about 150 of sentries lancers and be seekers , then concentrate on knights , about 50 then ...
