Revoke Level 3 Research

Question: If I launch an attack wave with level 3 research troops and then I revoke this research immediately afterwards so that the research is level 2 when the attack hits, will the troops attack with level 3 or level 2 research?

Would be grateful for any insight into the above.

Combat Medics Special

Question: Is the Combat Medics store special a stackable item? Can you make multiple purchases to save more troops than the regular 5% of losses?

I have attacked an opponent who used Combat Medics and the villain has managed to save between 25-30% of troop losses. How is this possible?

Yes. If the city is close enough, you can keep re-sending the same scholar after he returns until the city is captured.

Wow Kaleel my thanks, you have taken my problem further than I thought anyone would! My original motive was to ascertain whether you could build a balanced combined attack/defence city in a 3 tier research world using lancers and guards thereby doing away the need for sentries completely. You could ...

Thank you Goldnagger this is precisely the type of response I was looking for and confirms what the battle simulations were suggesting. I hazard a guess that it would be worth a gamble on having siege units at entry tier and allocating the points elsewhere for a greater combined attack combo. Your a...

Can you elaborate?

I am saying there doesn't appear to be a significant difference.

Rams/Ballistas Level 3

Is there much point researching rams and ballistas to level 3?

I have run a few basic simulations with troops and a level 25 wall and there does not appear to be a significant difference in the number of troops lost or the reduction of the wall/building for level 1 vs level 3.

Great response Gidude. If I may ask another question, what ratio of each unit type would you have in your attack and defence cities to maximise their overall capability and make the most efficient use of farm population space? In fact forget ratios if you could list absolute numbers I would be very ...
