Can you defend against ballistas? Does having more ballistas on defend allow you to mitigate building damage? if at least 1 ballista in the attack survives they will do full damage. the more support in the city the less damage ballistas will do. is it possible to have all of the units graphics from each recruitment building shown side by side at once. and have the little 'recruited:' bit underneath them, keep the stats shown at the side but have the actual recruitment bit work the same way as it did before.

Troop Improvement

How about when upgrading troops not just attack and defense get improved but also haul gets improved and possibly even the resource cost gets lowered.
And i think it would be nice if at one of the scouts levels it can see what a cities loyalty is.

say there is 1000 berserkers in the city defending for example. ie defense of 5. with a wall lvl of 25

city defense = 100%+wall defensive bonus(troop defense+wall basic defense)
= 100%+125%(5x1000+1270)
=2.25x6270
=14107.5

I'd say a general rule would be to have more than your enemy. If you have a look in the simulator you will see that it doesn't take that many troops to get rid of 300 lancers and sentries. Build your city and troops simultaneously and try to conquer your enemies before they have the chance to conque...
