I am a newb and looking for advice. With lvl 3 research what do you think is the best defensive and offensive troops to choose? Also, should the city be one or the other, or is a different mix better? Thanks!

I have an account on world 44 and 45. I noticed on 45 my lumber and other resources produce more per hour even though they are lower lvl. I did not purchase any kind of enhancements I am aware of.
