How do I keep from getting barb cities from being inactive?

How come when transporting good from my cities they can only drop off and not pick up. Would be a nice option. Example: Send 10k wood and bring back 10k iron.

Just make the purchase with gold cheaper. Instead of 10gold for 1000 iron make it 2gold/1000. Instead of 50 for a 5 slot quere make it 10gold. If it was 5x cheaper ur would get more for ur real world money. I'm all for supporting a game but make it reasonable. It's basic economics. U will make $ by ...
