Is it possible that your Guild Rekasand had a "Crown" in it that was willing to "defect"? Then he would be able do disband the guild completely as a crown.

This almost happened to an enemy guild of mine in W28. But the the lead crown demoted everyone before he could disband the guild.

A guildmate sent 8 scholars to a city far away and then "Accidentally" abandoned the world leaving his cities barbarian, after they went barb I sent my scholars to conquer his barb city before his scholars arrived. I conquered his city and it automaticall...
