24x7 Server operation

Looks like Valor server upgrade needs a downtime. When there is any issue in upgrade, the downtime can be long. It is undesirable for an MMO game that requires timing precision. Please consider upgrade your server infrastructure to support 24x7 operation. A redundancy concept is like this: 1. A grou...

Who owns the conquered city?

If I launch 5 waves of scholar attacks to a remote city from one of my cities, while my scholars are on the way, my city is attacked and lost. But my 5 waves are successful. Then who will own the new conquered city that I was targeting? To make this case in extreme, if two opponent cities are launch...

Sorry about your experience. But players with 30,000 knights and many cities can be wiped out. 350 knights are nothing.

Wasjoel, what you have experienced is common. Your crown does not trust you, so do you. That's why he/she took advantages on you. He/she knows you may leave at any time. So the only choice for her is to use you to expand herself. I have one example that is even worse. A crown suddenly switched to th...

Yes, Destroyer75. I also wish a lot of things. But human nature is hard to gauge. The key is to increase competition but not to decrease it. Human nature will always want to decrease it. Please do not make this game a version of "monopoly". There should be some rules. Another idea I have is to apply...

sodastereo, What you described, for me, is at tactical level of guild management. On a grander level, if more than half of top 20 players in a world are gathered in one guild, and this guild and another allied guild are the top three guilds in the world, no one can challenge them. Sure they will hav...

Its just unloyal not very smart people no offence doing that if there really like that it's the guild leaders fault for getting tratiors No. Guild members are not bound by nationalities or anything like that. Loyalty to a guild is fake in Valor. MOST members consider survival first, staying with a ...

Personally, i don't prefer penalties for the occasional guild change. Spies and traitors have made our wars interesting. Being spies and traitors has a cost in real life. Here there is none. If they want to be spies, pay the price. My point is that in Valor, the strong becomes stronger and the weak...

This is very important.

Excellent point, RPGgamer. Valor designers and developers, please listen. Forget about chaos, this is the single most important issue in Valor. This game mechanics is unhealthy. It is a problem for the game and a problem for your business model. A game that does not encourage competition is NOT a ga...
