Yeah, I could see a player profile being very similar to a guild profile. Just a greeting message area with BB code options, for stuff like personal NAPs, etc.

Perhaps an acct. sitter option. Have an option to elect another player such as a trusted member of the guild to watch your stuff for you. There could also be options for the level of access you want to give them.

My favorite use for chaos is a means to prevent taking the same target as another player. When you stack 40 waves on a big barb city, you know it's clear, then you cancel a few and send your scholars.
