It fixed itself today with no changes on my part. Maybe it's AT&T having some sort of problem with Valor's servers?

I sent 962 L3 scouts out to a city with 650 defending scouts. 249 of mine died, and yet I couldn't see anything beyond resources. No buildings, no troops outside of city. Seems like a 3-tier world is behaving like a 1-tier?

As a note, you don't need more than 527 rams per city attack. That's the number of L1 rams it takes to bring a wall from 25 to 0. This doesn't change regardless of attacking or defending troops, since the rams are calculated first.

The scholar slot shouldn't be lost, that's a bug. The scholar should be, however. My guess is that the conquered city is counted twice, as two separate cities, and thus decreases scholar cap by two.
