Just a quick info note for newer players who aren't aware - these are the reasons to farm with the following units: Lancers: cheap and second highest carrying capacity per farm space Sentries: cheap in the lumber department (they're great to build when you have excess iron) and have the highest carr...

Yeah it most certainly shouldn't take a person that long to reach those goals. The most important thing is to be constantly farming in the beginning. In the first couple of days it helps to reach lvl 5-10 of each of the buildings that don't take very long to build for the quest resources, but after ...

While I understand that it becomes extremely time consuming once you reach a certain number of cities, it's always seemed to be Playmesh's intent to reward the players that spend more time playing. Making the ability to launch attacks from multiple cities would contradict this idea. If anything I th...

I'm all for this - but only for attacks (not support waves). I feel this would help ease the "luck" involved around hoping your cell data service (or wifi) doesn't lag when you try to log in and send clearing waves 6 hours after you send scholar waves. I also agree that there should be a max time (d...

Ram Vs Ballista

Ok, so I'm curious about the pros and cons both offensively and defensively when considering these two units. How do rams compare vs ballista defensively? From what I understand Rams are counted as infantry - is this true? Do ballista help defend against rams?

Knocking down walls (as was already mentioned) is a matter of troop economics. In prolonged wars where your guild is going from target to target it is most certainly beneficial to knock down walls to save in troops and be able to keep hitting the enemy. In most other cases, though, it seems better t...

Edit: I realized you were responding to Bl1ndfury's post - disregard.

Anyway our point remains - there are many ways to skin a cat - its largely a matter of preference.

I'm not sure what you mean by disagreeing that offensive troops are situational - I don't remember saying that - only that overall troop comp is situational a matter of opinion. An argument can be made that you can get along just fine with 0 offensive troops (besides guardians) -- one of my guild ma...
