By the moment, if you really want to forget a lot of messages, you can reinstall.
Pros: It will let you just the last 2 days of messages. Less to delete, if you play in several worlds.
Cons: all messages will show unread status, even in guild forum

After reading this post I'd reinstalled Valor and now can forward the reports correctly.
Before it I tried more than 10 times, in different situations, between lots of refreshes, restarts and upgrades, without success.
