It's down again

Sorry if this has been asked already. What about those of us that have used gold. As the clock is ticking away on it and can't even use it. I think for the Time the server is down we should at least get that back.

I have a non stop problem with having incoming attacks. But can't find them until after they've landed. How can I defend aginist attacks if I can't find them until they've hit. I go through all my cities and refresh them more then once and I have to wait until they hit
