Can't send support

I have been trying for about 30 mins to send support to someone in my guild. I keep getting an error sayin I can only support people in my guild. This person is in my guild.

Ok small update, the person appears to be in my guild on the map but not in members list when I check in guild.

Is anybody else in your guild able to send support to that person? Sounds like that person is "half" in the guild, which would be a bug.

Please have that person or yourself contact our support team. Be sure to include the login name of the player you can't send support team.

I checked the person when I came on this morning and he is no longer blue and in our guild. As this is my first world I am not sure what happened. Did he go to another guild and servers took a while to update, or joined the build attacking him possibly another to save him. Our guild is not that big.
