1 of my city's is messing me up b4 I did the update everything was ok but now I'm in defercit of scholars it was 9 but now I've been able to bring it down to 5 in luckyhaha I was getting 2 scholars but have seen now I have 16 and I've also got more scout (1600+) which I did not do I did have a farm defercit of 2900+ but that has now corrected itself now I'm left with scholars in a city and no troop to support them but scouts I didn't want and unable to put scholars in city's I need them in I should now have 19 sholars to educate and take city's where I needed them but now r trying to get rid of the -5 I still owe plz help me sort this mess out thank u

I took a city last night, and now it says I have 9 existing scholars, with -2 available to educate.

But, I only have 5 scholars.

Ok. It happened again. Here's what I think is happening:
I launched 4 scholars, with Prestige.
Unknown to me, another player had also attacked but not yet captured.
My scholar no. 1 hits, loyalty down to about 20.
My scholar no. 2 hits, conquers city.
Now, when my scholars 3 and 4 hit, they also "conquer the city".
So, I'm down 2 scholars, which I should be able to just re-educate, since I was at the appropriate scholarship level.
Problem: today, I'm told that I have 11 existing scholars, but I only have 9!
