Issues with Special Characters

I've noticed that when u include smiley faces and special characters in a cities name, it doesn't show up properly on the map. If noone mentions this does this mean PLAYMESH can't be bothered to sort it out? Or maybe they are waiting for players to find a way of exploiting it before they can be assed to do something about it.

If noone mentions a bug, it means PlayMesh puts it low on their priority list, if at all. No need for rudeness. Thank you for taking the time to bring the issue up though; similarly, it seems the city namer won't accept Cyrillic characters anymore.
