Abandon Worlds Fix Needed

I play on iPhone with ios9 and can't abandon worlds even after 1) I've been conquered twice, and now cannot restart in that world anyway, 2) refreshing cache abundantly, and 3) deleting & reinstalling the game. I have a few guildmates who are at this loss as well. Any support or fixes would be much appreciated.
