When I hit "Enter", the game fails to run, but amulet(s) consumed regardless.

I had that happen to me also. Lost like 8 amulets but when I closed and restarted it started working correctly And still is now but it didn't return my amulets.

Support would have to help out here, as is the case where any items are lost. Link to contact them is in my signature.
