No Map

Every time I hit the map button the game quits and I'm back to my home page on the iPhone. Nothing seems to work, even going the magnifying glass on another player to see their location shuts down the game. When I restart it, it shows last time I was in game was 12+ hours. Any ideas of what I can do or is this a bug?
