I can't send more than 9999 of any troop in a single attack. When you move the slider past 9999, it resets to 1,000 (I.e. the field is limited to 4 digits). Is this a known limitation I'm just not aware of, or a bug?

Cost me a full set of 5 scholars because I didn't notice that moving the slider all the way right only sent 10% of my troops...

I too ran into this problem, luckily I was able to get 5000 knights in front of the attack to prevent loss of scholars. So is this a bug or how the game was designed?

It is probably a bug as I can still send over 10k troops of same type. Have you tried submitting a ticket to the support desk?
